Registration for FDA’s Compounding Quality Center of Excellence Annual Conference Now Available; Expert Q&A Panel Registration Coming Soon
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Compounding Quality Center of Excellence (CQCoE) has opened registration for its Annual Conference to be held on September 6-8, 2022. Additionally, the CQCoE is hosting the State Compounding Quality Training – FDA Expert Q&A Panel on October 27, 2022; registration is forthcoming.
FDA CQCoE’s Annual Conference, themed The Shared Pursuit of Compounding Excellence, will be held virtually September 6-8 and convene stakeholders across the compounding industry. The conference will emphasize outsourcing facilities and highlight how stakeholders can protect patients from unsafe, ineffective, and poor-quality compounded drugs while preserving access to compounded drugs for patients who have a medical need for them.
The full agenda is available online and features subject matter expert presentations, interactive sessions, and roundtable discussions. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with FDA, learn about emerging trends, and gain quality compounding insights. On October 27 at 2-3:30 PM Eastern Time, the CQCoE is hosting a virtual Q&A panel with FDA experts on compounding quality exclusively for state regulators. This webinar will focus on compounding quality and Current Good Manufacturing Practice topics covering insanitary conditions and sterility assurance, airflow, and aseptic process simulations. Attendees may email relevant questions in advance to the CQCoE or ask them live during the panel discussion. Registration information will be coming soon.
The CQCoE encourages you to take the three self-guided online trainings below prior to attending the live webinar in order to effectively engage in the Q&A panel discussion. These three trainings are also eligible for home study continuing education credit.

- Airflow : Four-hour training
- Aseptic Process Simulations (Media Fills) : Two-hour training
